Late Mr Jiya Lal Jain

Late Mr Jiya Lal Jain

United Schools Organisation of India was founded in 1951 by Late Mr. Jiya Lal Jain with the vision to promote teachings about the United Nations among school students. As the Founder Secretary General, Late Mr. Jain aimed to impart among the youth the importance of ideals such as national integration and peace education. USO reached towering heights under his leadership and guidance. He also set up the USO International Centre, at USO House with an aim to provide conference facilities at modest rates to government bodies and NGO's. He was a true legend and to this day, his pursuit of excellence continues to inspire us all.

After the demise of Mr. Jain in 2007, the work of USO was continued with even stronger fervor by the Late Mrs. Aleyamma Jain. The Late Mrs. Jain worked tirelessly to further promote the teachings of United Nations, and bridge the learning gap amongst school students. Her strong yet charming personality and perseverance to get things done is missed by all.
